Chatuge Regional Hospital is located near Lake Chatuge in
Hiawassee Georgia. This 42 bed hospital also operates a 112 bed nursing home in its adjacent East Main Street location. Chatuge Regional Hospital provides general medical and surgical services and features a 24 hour emergency room. Specialty clinics at Chatuge Regional Hospital offer services in Urology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Podiatry,
Gastroenterology, and allergy medicine. The cutting-edge heart wing, the Hiawassee Heart Center, opened in 1999 and offers full time, comprehensive cardiology services in partnership with Emory’s Heart Center. Two off site medical clinics affiliated with Chatuge Regional Hospital in Hiawassee Georgia are the Chatuge Primary Care clinic and the Young Harris Family Medicine office.
Murphy Medical Center is a wonderful hospital located just outside of the city of
Murphy NC. It operates with 50 short term beds and 120 long term beds and also houses a new Emergency Department with a state of the art Intensive Care unit and Rehabilitation wing. Staffed 24 hours a day, the emergency department
exceptionally handles the emergency medical needs of the community.
